"Turkish March" is a bright excerpt from Beethoven's "The Ruins of Athens". Turkish music was very popular in Beethoven's day and many great pieces of Turkish influence exist today such as Mozart's "Rondo Alla Turca (Turkish Rondo)." These two pieces played together would make a great combination at a concert.
